Choosing A Cover Photo

The next step to finalizing the playlist process is to find a photo cover. Spotify allows for a photo to be inserted into the playlist. But, you have to make sure the photo fits the correct size. Spotify only allows for photos 300x300 or bigger. You can easily find photos on Pinterest or just through a quick Google search. If the photo is less 300x300, then there is an easy way to fix it! By going to "Photopea", you can inlarge any photo to the correct size.

By searching specifically for "spotify playlist covers", most photos that show up will be square or very close to a square.

If the photo you chose fits into the Spotify limits when inserted, then all you need to do is save the changes! Then reload the page and your photo should show up! If it does not, open up the website Photopea and click image. There you will find a tab called "Image Size" that will allow you to enlarge the photo. Then, save the photo to your computer and upload it to Spotify. Now you have the perfect cover photo!

Looking for photos that have hearts, love song lyrics, or picutures that capture the theme of love is important. As always, the picture you choose can be whatever you want, but inding a picture that captures the overall theme can help distinguish the kind of playlist you are creating.
