Creating a Title

Creating a title for your playlist can be difficult as there are several different ways you could go about it. You could choose a phrase or a single word. Maybe you want to put only emojis. Clearly, theres a lot of choices! So what makes the title "right". It's up to you to choose what kind of title you want, but here are some way to help clarify and gather ideas!

If we want to make a title with a phrase, we should choose something that is on the shorter side. A Spotify playlists' title can be as long as you want it to be, but on a mobile device, the whole title may not show up. Finding a short but "to the point" quote or phrase can help the viewer find your playlist!
A single word or a few words may be hard to choose from, but it can be a lot easier to find. Try thinking of words that incorporate your theme. Adjectives and a noun are often some of the best ways to capture your playlists' theme.
Emojis can also be difficult to use. I would recomment using 3-6 emojis, as it is more aesthetically pleasing. You can choosing the emojis yourself, or you can search for emojis on Pinterst. By typing in "aesthetic emoji groups", you can find hundereds of combinations.

Keeping these tips in mind, its time to create our titles!

Finding the "Right" Title

Outer Banks and Love Playlist Ideas:

Let's figure out a good title for our beachy Outer Banks playlist. We could choose a popular quote from the TV show, a few words describing the "beachy" feeling, or a group of emojis, or a combination of choices.
Let's choose the quote "Outer Banks, Paradise on Earth". Instead of using the whole quote, I will shorten it to "Paradise on Earth" which is more pleasing to look at as its shorter and 3 words.
You can go one step further to making your playlist unique and customize your text. By going to Lingojam, you can make your title fun and quirky!

For the Love playlist, let's work with a single word. I will choose the word "infatuation" which means: a foolish or obessively strong love for, admiration for, or interest in someone or something. To me, this word captures the playlist perfectly! I decided not to add any special effects to the title for this playlist.

Now it's time to put everthing together in Spotify!
